tonight i made a spicy corn with lots of herbs ~ it has turned into your dad’s favorite! i start by melting butter over medium heat, saute some hot red pepper, garlic and a shallot, all chopped up ~ then i add the corn (frozen is great), a pinch of kosher salt(you know me and kosher salt) and fresh ground black pepper ~ now add the fresh or dried herbs ~ whatever you have on hand… oh, to make this a little more of an indulgence, i add about 1/4 cup of sugar, simply scrumptious!
andre smashed the garlic potatoes and toren made and rolled out the herb and pepper-crusted, provolone-stuffed meatloaf.
