instead of going someplace warm and exotic, mikaela came to england for her spring break ~ i know it wasn’t the trip she’d hoped for, but we had some nice moments together ~ it was nice seeing her face in person for a change, and not just through the skype screen ~ we went to an exotic farm/shop; i taught her bread making 101 (she passed with flying colors ~ with 2 baguettes and a nice country loaf); she taught toren and i some water color techniques; and she got to spend some good quality time with her nephew, gabe ~

thank you my daughter, for giving me face time ~ i loved our time together ~

You can kiss your family and friends good-bye and put miles between you, but at the same time you carry them with you in your heart, your mind, your stomach, because you do not just live in a world but a world lives within you.
