Another visit to Sicily is coming to an end. Bittersweet, as we’ll miss the weddings of dear friends, Pietro and Chiara and cousin Dario to his sweet fiancé. But… we’ll be heading back to a new home in sunny (!) Florida, saying farewell to lovely family and friends in Ohio AND picking up my Mom to start a new adventure with her ❤️.

From Antica Filanda (you really must eat here once in your lifetime) making aranchini with Lucia, long walks, trekking with Calogero and nosh-ing on a fresh panini from Luciano at Macelleria Sfizi Di Carne, countryside berry picking, gelato and pastries from Alfredo at Il Campanile delle Bontà, setting up home and making lasting memories, this has been a memorable experience.
